This application utilizes the microphone for automatic pitch detection of the note being played. It features three dials that provide visual feedback on the current note. The central dial indicates the pitch or note name, the inner dial denotes the octave, and the outer dial displays whether the note is flat or sharp. The orange region signifies a tolerance of within 10 cents for decent tuning accuracy, while the green region indicates a tighter margin of within 5 cents for precision tuning.

Although primarily optimized for guitar tuning, this app is versatile enough for use with a variety of musical instruments. It is capable of frequency detection from B0 (30 Hz) up to C8 (4186 Hz).

Beyond the standard 12 Tone Equal Temperament (12-TET), users can select from various tuning systems, including just intonation, Pythagorean tuning, 5-limit, 7-limit, quarter comma meantone, and N-Tone equal temperament. The parameter N can vary between 5 and 52 in N-Tone equal temperament tuning.

A convenient shift feature is available for users who prefer a reference pitch other than A440 Hz or need to tune alongside those who may be slightly out of tune. By allowing a peer to play a note, the user can engage the shift key and adjust the dial to reflect what their friend played. After making this adjustment, pressing the shift key again enables standard tuning operations. The reset option restores the original settings at any time.

The application also includes a pitch pipe feature.
